Poems by Brendan, Book 2 Welcome to this second collection of fifty poems. There are recurring themes, but no conscious "development" in any field. They are gleaned from stuff written over many years, and now being published. Getting a poem finished is a sort of Ah! experience, a coming-to-be of something unique, an addition to an already well populated world - but adding something new. It becomes somehow influential, transformative, enriching, only when others hear it or read it, which is why this collection is in your hands or on your screen. As I re-read those few sentences, one would think I am talking about the birth of a child. Well, it's like that.
