Benson, Arizona, is just a small railroad town, with far more history hidden under the surface than one can imagine. The San Pedro Valley started as home to wildlife, and various indigenous peoples. Later it was explored by the Spanish, and became a target for pioneers looking for fertile land, and miners looking for the earth's treasures. It wasn't until the Southern Pacific Railway started putting down tracks to El Paso that Benson began. This small town soon become home to many characters of the old west, and the new west alike.
