In a post apocalyptic Philadelphia, Dorian awakes from a coma to a world covered in toxins, and swarming with what used to be the original inhabitants of earth. Dorian does the only thing that makes sense, and searches for his sister. What he finds, instead is the love of his life who is still heartbroken from their last conversation. Angela was devasted when Dorian terminated their relationship. To make matters worse, the world has literally ended. Angela cannot let one person or one earth shattering event keep her from surviving. With as many humanbeings who are willing to work as hard as her to survive the radiation that is determined to kill everyone and thing on the surface of the planet. So in order for her to be the strong leader that her people need of her, she must have a heart of stone. The attraction between Dorian and Angela is an underground volcano that is slowly making its the surface, and while Angela is doing everything that she possibly can to prevent it from happening, Dorian will do everything he can to make her see that they belong together. However being a leader to society that needs her to lead every aspect of their lives, yet a threat hanging over her life may disrupt Dorian's plans to to bring her closer to him.
