Very much inspired by the work of William Blake, Edgar Allan Poe and Guy de Maupassant. It is set in a time that Poe would recognize, in a Port City in New England. After 12 years, Fricot meets Traff and offers him a chance to earn wages writing for "A Little Book of the Macabre". Traff uses the opportunity to right a horrible wrong he didn't have the courage to do 12 years ago.
