Leonard Hartman is a saint in a church filled with vampires. Leonard is a soft-spoken and easy going thirty-five-year old developmentally challenged man who rents a room in East Dayton, Ohio from a retired postal worker. And he's come to the realization that the world around him is nothing more than a functioning corpse. The drug infested area in which he lives holds more than a few challenges for him, and now he has unwittingly fallen prey to two neighborhood thugs-along with a recovering drug addict Janice Swanson-and pulled into a life-threatening situation. But the unknown factor about Leonard is one that no one would ever expect-it's his ability to fight back.
