This book is a chronicle of how the Greenway Carousel was created both conceptually and practically. The first section of the book tells how the Greenway emerged from the tangle of the Big Dig, how a sketch from the 1980's led to a philanthropist's choice in 2010 and the fortuitous events leading to the greatest commission in my career. The reader gets to experience both the creative process and the decision making process, the science and technology, and the myriad of collaborations that it took to create this magnificent non-traditional contemporary carousel with 36 seats, including 14 figures to ride.
