I end with the words of the Japanese wet-navy Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto when his forces attached the US Navy at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on 7 December 1941. 'I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.' Well, what the Ra'ma'nens have done is fill us with that terrible resolve. My message to the Ra'ma'nen Emperor is simple: "WE ARE COMING!!!!" -- Sigrid Magnusdottir, President of the Terran Republic, speech to the Assembly, 22 September 2121, following the anti-matter bombing of San Francisco. 126 years after a nuclear had ravaged Earth, Humanity has gone to the stars, establishing colonies and meeting other races. A chance encounter with the Ra'ma'nens goes wrong and the young Terran Republic is invaded, plunging the Orion Spur into war.
