Beginning in Berlin, Germany, From Lake Wannsee to the California Desert is my story as first told to me at a young age by my father. My family and I survived the horrors of World War II and later fled East Berlin during the "Cold War." As I grew older, my experiences being clearly edged into my mind, I am recounting these and more. My life took many twists and sometimes funny turns. I encountered some road blocks but also discovered clear highways to conquer. This book will take you from the year 1933 to today, 2018.
