This is a story of a little girl as she prepares with pure joy for her dog's birthday party. The story incorporates sign language on every page, helping the story not only be more engaging but also a bridge between verbal and nonverbal. It gives children the chance to be a part of the world of sign language, even if just for a few words, whether or not it is something they use on a regular basis. This sweet story builds on friendship, kindness and compassion.
