Since the suicide of the last member of the family almost thirty years ago, the decaying old mansion has been unoccupied - mostly. Although there is evidence of bizarre blood rituals in the basement, Jack and Clara lack the evidence to prove their case, although they know the coroner's conclusion is wrong.
