The Good Crazy and Leaving the Trees novels are rewritten into one complete book, Bad Bozeman Bad, that tells the complete post apocalyptic story in one reading. Bad Bozeman Bad describes the eventual meltdown of our global society as we now know it and is written by a former member of the White House National Security Council staff who sees what is coming. He now lives in Montana. It has at the root cause the political wars and government gridlock we see today with the resulting government shutdowns and market crashes. Smart people realize to save their families they must eventually flee from the cities to the safety of the clean and pure environment of the mountain west. At the center of the novel is a malevolent cyberattack which governments around the the global cannot control and goes rogue. It causes the the collapse of civilization by destroying the global financial markets. Eventually tribes of survivors emerge to battle each other for shelter and food. Led by a military leader, one band of survivors flee to the mountains of Montana to build a fenced camp, grow their own GMO free food and fight off marauders to survive. Living off of the grid in the bitter cold, this small homestead learns how to use what they have left to endure. It is a novel about courage, betrayal and a final climactic revenge over evil. Darwin's true survival of the fittest during the present chaos of the 21st century.
