Rice Johson is sharing his first self-illustrated book of original poems with you that he created in 2017, and hopes you enjoy reading and viewing as much as he enjoyed creating. In his seven years Rice had been inspired by deep snow in the Grand Tetons and had been chased down mountain trails by thunderstorms in the Southern Rockies. He'd seen sunny beaches, wind and waves; and had taken refuge from east coast hurricanes. His 1st grade class at Midland Elementary School offered him the opportunity so he chose to express his feelings about Weather using his self-illustrated poetry.
