It may go as deep as to point out to you what you need to work on, change or what you have been hiding from. This is because what you interpret from each poem says something about your psyche. The true intention and meaning behind the book or the real story told is a tale of a shunned love lost and constitutes of modern day issues such as homosexuality and forbidden love.
