A captain and crew are swept off course by a rogue wave while on a volunteer search and rescue mission for a boy who was lost at sea. They find themselves stranded with their ship navigation down and a menacing illness that's making them forget everything that ever mattered to them. Things seem to be looking up when they come across a mysterious island. However, they soon find that the sickness was the least of their worries, and the real danger lies on this new uncharted piece of land.
