"The Moosetrax & The Walk In The Woods" is the first book of a planned series, about a moose family in the woods of Vermont. The Moosetrax are a family of three. Mamma Moosetrax is the cool head of the household, and keeps everyone in line. Papa Moosetrax is has a carefree attitude that gets him into trouble on occasion. Joey, their son, is an adventurous 8 year old that has a lot to learn about the woods he lives in, and the world beyond it. In this chapter of their adventures the family takes a walk in the woods. They make a few new woodland friends along the way, and Papa is up to his usual mischief. This is the perfect book to share with little ones. It has fun characters, and a good lesson.
