This is an exciting, moving, and motivating story about raising one's self-esteem that is based on the author's own past experiences. The story endeavors to convey several important messages to the reader such as learning to live with one's imperfections and even turning one's weaknesses into strengths and learning to develop other talents in order to make oneself more attractive and desirable to one's fellow human beings. The moral of the book will help the reader raise his/her self-esteem and self-assurance. In this story, the protagonist has a problem with his appearance and as a result has an inferiority complex which makes his life awkward. However, his best friend, his mother and a wise old man try to help him by devising various interesting and amusing schemes to overcome his much-exaggerated concerns. Finally, he finds a clever way to utilize his imperfection to his own advantage and thus achieves the dream of his life. This novella was written initially (in the form of a radio play) in the Cypriot dialect of the Greek language and participated in the Cyprus Republic national radio play competition. It was selected and broadcasted on the 2nd of October, 2016. Moreover, an exquisite music composer wrote the music of a song that uses the poetic verses, in the original Cyprus dialect, from the radio play. The song competed in the annual Cyprus state television song competition on the 30th of June 2017 and achieved the 6th place. Enjoy this story!
