It begins with an alphabetic index to wills, followed by data from entries as entered in the book, chronological by date probated. It is indexed by surname only. A sample entry: "p. 212: Green C. Stotts, 4 Nov. 1876, wife Mary Jane Stotts, children not named, executor Thomas B. Turk, witnesses George W. Stotts, Robert G. Stotts, probated 10 November 1876." Some have additional notes: (ex: "If gabriel (sic) Robertson shall stay on the farm with my wife and son George W. Rinker that he have a good common schooling and clothing ..."). This is among Lawrence County Missouri Historical Society publications reprinted by the Society in 2018 as Heritage Editions.
