In this second publication of my poetry, I write without limits or bounds, allowing the energy of powerful emotion to flow through my words and saturate each page. Hemorrhage-it is the unstoppable release of what lies in the soul, from emotion to words, completing an articulation of a multitude of experiences. Over the last two years since my last publication, I have listened to stories told by others-clients, friends, family, lovers-and have used my poetry to help them raise their voices from a whisper to a shout. I have also written about my own experiences, allowed my emotions to pour over page after page, the full range from the blackness of sorrow to celebration of joy. This book is about catharsis; emotion felt and words spoken until no words remain. Whether you have been wildly in love, desperately broken, or you have hidden in the shadows of shame, in this collection of poetry truth finds voice and speaks loudly until the bleeding stops.
