Redemption is the ability to forgive yourself, others and overcoming your past mistakes, hurts and disappointments. Redemption is forgetting those things behind you and moving towards a better tomorrow. In this book Dear God; It's Me Jean, I stand unapologizing for the strength and courage of who I am today. My past shaped me into the person I am today. I love myself more than I ever have in my past life of abuse and toxic relationships and friendships. I'm more aware of who I am and who I am called to be. I wrote this book for women just like me who have lived in the trenches of abuse and low-self esteem, who made bad choices and mistakes that may have been costly. We all have been served lemons somewhere in our lives that left us with bitter spirits. Today, as you read my journey to redemption, you too can be set free and hold your held up high. You don't have to be ashamed of what you use to do or who you did it with. God is merciful, forgiving and full of Grace that you will never be able to receive from the human race. Humans like to remind of what happened twenty years ago, or what you did 2 months ago. It gives their flesh the satisfaction of seeing you in a low-down dirty place. Well, you don't have to stay there. I give you permission today, to get up, take those sour, bitter lemons and make the best lemonade you can! Life is Good!
