A complete showcasing of over 155 photographic STRIP sequences that he began in 1969. Ted Glasso originated the term STRIPSto describe a unique way of telling a story through a brief sequence of candid (unposed) photographs. He wondered the streets of New York starting in 1968 looking for such candid situations as he was building a portfolio for his his ambition to work as a war photographer. He aspired to work as a photographer for LIFE and was deeply disappointed when it ceased to be published weekly in 1971, just as he was graduating from high school.
