ABOUT THE BOOK

Dreamers of the Night is a collection of poetry and prose which explores the warmth, wisdom and love of old forgotten dreams. Dreams that are forgotten during the day, but remembered in the silent corners of the night. The great thing about this book is that you can come back to it again and again and still rediscover pieces of poetry and prose that will resonate with you at different points in your life!

The book is divided into 4 parts:

4) Wisdom of the Old

All these chapters explore dreams, stories and illustrations that capture our imagination as we traverse through these quintessential moments in our lives. And because we share a somewhat similar human experience at the most fundamental level, you'll find in my dreams, an honest reflection of your own!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sumit Pratap Singh is an award winning filmmaker, writer and actor whose work has screened at festivals, all around the world. Sumit started writing poetry and fiction at the tender age of seven and soon after fell in love with the art of storytelling. His passion for telling stories led him to study film at the prestigious Chapman University in California, where he honed his abilities as a storyteller.

Sumit is extremely passionate about sharing his viewpoint of the world through his art, which often takes the form of poetry, illustrations, photography and film. Through the canvas of his mind, Sumit hopes to explore and present his interpretation of the human condition. 'Dreamers of the Night' is an attempt to bring forward one such exploration, where Sumit explores the limitless potential of our quiet hopeful dreams.
