Dear God Mehnoush Bakhtiari

Mehnoush is a first hand witness to the oppression and violence of the Islamic Iranian regime in Iran. Living in Tehran as a teenager, she wept when they executed Reyhaneh Jabbari, an innocent woman who was hanged for defending herself against a government rapist. Mehnoush fled from Iran in August of 2017 and arrived safely in Sweden as an asylum seeker. In this her first published book, Mehnoush documents the unjust and inhumane torture of political prisoners and protesters in her powerful articles to awaken the world to the cries of the helpless Iranian people who are struggling every day for basic human rights and freedom.
