Intuition carries a sci-fi fantasy genre toward young adult audiences. Intuition's uniqueness includes the thoughts of the protagonist, Phlegon Aten, dealing with being forced into the military due to his unique powers. Before, he was a popular pianist who did shows and collaborations with other artists. Throughout this book, Phlegon faces too much violence and death in battles with the aliens. So, he became affected. In addition, he has a sixth sense of intuition. Phlegon also has a strong disagreement with the military's actions and plans. Henceforth, he felt misunderstood. However, still defended what his intuition is sending him. Furthermore, he has a strong friendship with two characters, Jake and Marcel. They are brothers (Marcel is the oldest). Phlegon met Marcel in high school, while Jake was in elementary school. Intuition focuses on feelings and judgment on issues. Also, creates an influential awareness of the real problems going on in the past, present, and future. The narrator, Phlegon Aten, shared his feelings that happened during those actions. Also, he wrote this book in his current mood at the time.
