After returning home from a very strange Christmas in their new house on Kauai, Steve and Wendy are asked by Gail to help with her brother who's after her inheritance. Wendy is proving herself to be more of a competent asset than Steve ever imagined. He always knew she was extremely intelligent, but she has more than earned his admiration and respect with regards to her wide range of abilities and his close associates are starting to recognize them as well.
