The Plane of Judgment Darius Maroufkhani
The Plane of Judgment
Darius Maroufkhani
After thousands of years of being dead, we were rudely awakened in our graves by the loud sound of The Angel Israfil's trumpet. A man looks around at the hordes of other arisen corpses and quickly discovers that the Day of Judgement is as real as all the so-called wise men and scriptures believed it to be. And as he journeys deeper, he discovers it is also the messy logistical nightmare. He watches the vast bureaucracy of angels herd all walks of life through the court of the Almighty hearing sinners and saints, the famous and the common, tells their tragedies and triumphs eagerly awaiting God's fair judgment. The man's cynicism in life is reaffirmed in death, and he can only wait his turn and wonder whether eternity, salvation, or damnation is worth the wait in line.
