Linda is jealous of her girlfriends whose fathers are in the Navy. Their dads are always bringing them dolls from foreign countries and taking them on tours of the great ships that dock at the Norfolk Naval Base. Then one day a friend of the family offers Linda's family the chance of a lifetime--a cruise on an aircraft carrier. The only thing that makes this adventure even more exciting is that this cruise embarks on Linda's thirteenth birthday! Will it be smooth sailing or will Linda be disappointed?
