On an island in the Puget Sound drug crimes are up and a teenager has gone unfortunately missing. A young detective, under the direction of his savvy Captain, is determined to solve the crime. In the background of it all is the mysterious Elijah Bradford. He claims he is a retired businessman; is he trying to help the detective, or hinder his investigation? And is there more to the story than any of them know?When the investigation turns personal, everyone will have to decide who's on whose side, and where the boundary is between following the law and doing what they believe to be right.
