"Everybody Loves Sacks" is a silly read-out-loud tale about a dog named "Sacks". Written in a children's book format, the edgy, entendre-based humor is aimed at adults. There is no profanity nor obscene content, and the colorful illustrations are 100% safe for any young child, but to be clear, the book is written to provide a good laugh for the adult reader. "Everybody Loves Sacks" is a terrific alternative to a bottle of wine as a hostess gift, as well as a perfect stocking stuffer. The short (700 words over 25-pages, of which about half are illustrations), "children's book for adults" is written and positioned as an affordable and memorable gift to be enjoyed at any adult gathering, such as over dessert at a dinner party; as an ice breaker at a bridal shower; or at a dog lover's birthday party. The book's humor is SIGNIFICANTLY more appreciated when read out loud, hence the author's emphasis on "read out loud." In market tests, many readers were brought to tears!
