Astonishingly, lost, hurt and starving animals appeared magically in her backyard or through open windows. There was something miraculous about the eyes of these safe furry critters, compared to her abusers eyes. All the animals radiated an intense healing love that helped to reconstruct her broken heart.




The animals gave her a reason to get out of bed every morning and stood with her as she fought off the suicidal voices.




Animals can be our greatest teachers, they show us true love and acceptance. They don't remind us that we are odd and flawed and their presence and warm bodies comfort us.
