Jane and Natalie have just found out that they were moving, or "temporarily relocating," as Mr. Johnson put it, to a ghastly manor that inspires fear and terror to those who lay their eyes upon it. Margaret, an adventurous young girl, who has been waiting for ages for a chance to investigate the murder of the beloved town's artist, Señora Juanita, greeted them with a friendly welcome. There's only one problem -- Señora Juanita's soul has occupied that manor for over fifty years, locked up in a dusty old treasure chest and has been yearning revenge ever since. This accomplished artist was betrayed by her most dear friend, Alexandra, along with several other accomplices.
