After barely escaping from the ancient vampire lord's Resurrection Crypt, the crew splits up. The supernatural team members lick their wounds in Xibalba. Sverre's rampaging werewolf form is still a danger to all around him, forcing him seek out the help of Clan Cen'Ful. However, the price they demand could be more than he wishes to pay. Still on the run from the Order, Jessica and Malcolm travel to the Farm to fortify its defenses against the upcoming war, but it may be too late. One of the ancient vampire lords unleashes his terrifying armies on the Order and the rest of humanity, and no one is prepared for the onslaught that follows.
