You are about to read stories inspired by real people, true crimes and actual events from my 28-year career. Overlapping my years as a fed were 20 years, between active and reserve duty, as an Army CID agent. The true events in my stories are woven into narratives involving other actual events. The bank robbery incidents are all true. The quirky people, the nation's first gay riot and two mass-shooting scenarios are true events where I chose to involve my characters. The state hospitals or prisons depicted are places I visited.
