Princess Kayla and the Royal Visitors Mary Ann Weathers

"Those barbarians to the north are joining forces, possibly for an invasion" the king said, throwing the letter down and taking a long drink of his coffee, which he always took very strong. "Oh my!" exclaimed the queen, holding her napkin to her mouth. "What does that mean, King-Papa?" asked Kayla. The Princess had never seen her father almost frown for so long at one time. Princess Kayla, a 13-year-old queen-in-training, awaits the arrival of foreign visitors from the neighboring country of Achim. There has been strain between the two countries in the past, but in light of a new threat from the North, they have new motivation to move past their differences and form an alliance. But given their tumultuous history, will they be able to reconcile in time? Join Princess Kayla as she meets Princess Bithiah and the official envoy to attempt peace negotiations. How will Princess Kayla host her foreign guests? What adventures will she suggest they embark on together to build their relationship? You decide what will happen in this Reader-Directed story. Sail to a far-off land of kings and queens, kingdoms and conflicts, and strange creatures you've never seen before. In a land where dragons dwell, before the inventions of modern civilization, the exciting and unusual adventures will certainly take turns toward the unexpected!
