In Fearless Inanna, a young girl goes on an heroic quest to rescue her parents from a dragon's curse. Five years on, the goddess of the Small Sea summons her to meet with the great ocean goddesses Ratu-kidul, Marah, and Amphitrite, who present her with a daunting task: cross the Long Sea to the distant city of Atlantis and rescue it from another dragon, this one more daunting than the last. After a visit with her old friend, the witch Siduri, and an enlightening visit to the court of the Minoan Bull-king, Inanna makes her way at last to the doomed city, even reawakening a sleeping god in an effort to save it, but the dragon is more formidable by far than she ever anticipated.
