The stability of one's future relies on the foundation in which it was built upon.

Timothy Mottle's premeditated plot to murder Javier and Blaine is shattered into pieces when his father, Robert James, exposes his plan to the local police department. While in custody, Tim undergoes a court-ordered psych evaluation and is sentenced to a facility for immediate treatment. Engaging in countless sessions with his psychologist, Tim struggles to accept that he's utilized negative coping skills to deal with unresolved childhood trauma. With life's answers basking in the unknown, Tim's default support system falters when the truth regarding the past is revealed, leaving him to fend for himself.

Aware of his minimal track record as a father, Robert James makes one last effort to save Tim from spending the rest of his natural life behind bars. Now that he believes Tim is safe, Robert attempts to leave the chaos he created behind until he runs into his high school sweetheart. The moment Robert opts out of his plan to relocate in hopes of rekindling love, his world becomes engulfed by flames, death, and uncovered lies. Failing countless times in his role as a man and due to his lack of morals and values in his early twenties, Robert never expected any of his decisions to come back and threaten not only his life but the life of his first-born son.

As Robert and Tim battle their reluctance to change, will Tim trust his newfound judgment, or will Robert's lack of attention to the foundation he built be the reason Tim takes his last breath?
