Moving - Sweet - Suspenseful. A woman's wedding is supposed to be the happiest day of her life. Not so for Agnes, who discovers her new husband, Sir Howard, is not what he'd seemed. A trip to Bath is planned for the improvement of Sir Howard's health, but Agnes instead finds her spirits lifted by both old and new friends, including the mysterious and seductive poet Lord Winthrope.
