Known for their generosity and fairness, the Stuarts are beloved by most people in their hometown of Elkford. However, a twenty-year-old tragedy haunts the family. Chestnut Cove, a series set in the foothills of the southern Appalachian Mountains in the latter half of the 20th century, follows the Stuarts and their small, upscale hotel chain. Chestnut Cove: Poseurs and Portraits is the first novel to be released, though it begins in the middle of the story, so to speak. Why? Because there's never really a beginning or end to a family's story, and Poseurs and Portraits is a critical pivot point in the lives of the Stuarts.
