My story about how growing up in the Crack Cocaine era in South Central Los Angeles, lead me to places beyond belief and how while God was always right there guarding me, protecting me, and providing for me, the dangers of the streets haunted me to the point that I became suicidal. In this book you will find details about how I overcame the attack of the enemy on my life and how the battle to overcome became a fight for family, community, and relationships. I had to come to understand that no matter which way my life took me, I was created for something greater than myself. I learned that I wasn't on the bottom but I was destined to stand on the front line for those that love me and those that don't and that I wrestle not against flesh and blood but the forces of evil and the personal vendetta that waged against my soul. I was chosen by God to snatch my family from the hands of the enemy and I have committed my life to doing just that. I share the depths of so many life lessons that I had to learn and how to not only forgive those that hurt me but I had to learn how to forgive myself. This book includes the culture from the 70's to now. It will take you on a journey taken by a little girl who lived her life full of fear but found strength in her ability to adjust and overcome at every turn of her life even when it seemed life was just too hard to bare.
