Everything sounded easy enough.

Sneak in to a Pict village, steal a holy stone, and claim a Viking's honor.

One night-in and out-and Ubbi would never be seen as a stable boy again.

What could go wrong?




While famous Vikings such as Harald Fairhair were unifying Norway, and Ketill Flatnose ruled the Kingdom of the Isles, Tor and Olaf were earning their reputations and growing their fortunes at sea.

But Ubbi was just a glorified oarsman, a boy, really, who cared for the horses and guarded the ships while the rest of the crew raided and battled in the lands of the Angles and the Picts.




That is, until he lost his tongue...
