After wandering around the demolished aftermath that once was New Mexico, the young girl is rescued by a curious group of survivors. Shortly after settling in to the place she would soon consider home, she finds herself unhappy with how the head of the house; Alec, is handling survival. Passion consumes Scarlet as she takes a hold of the reigns and pushes the group to not only survive, but to thrive. To rebuild on the remains of a once lively neighborhood. But when Scarlet begins to uncover facts about the attacks that took her family away and is presented with a chance at revenge, she struggles to decide if working to rebuild a now dead town in New Mexico is enough. As her newfound friends fight for Scarlet's sanity, Scarlet fights her to follow the deepest desire of her heart; revenge. As things begin to continuously fall apart within the group of survivors, they begin to question their next step. Which path will they choose? Survival or revenge?
