But at the appointed time, Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead as a substitute offering for our sin. For those who trust in Him and believe, He paid the price for their sin. He also gives the gift of His Holy Spirit to them. This gift restores us to God's original design, and gives us the power to live the life God planned for us.
