10-year-old Connor Lamb can't wait for his school day to end. He's got Swords Team this afternoon (his first practice!) and a new Wolf Buster Sword to try out. That's a C-Rank Melee Weapon. It took ages to grind!




But just his luck: Connor's teacher, Ms. Vickers, has the most boring lesson plan ever. Poetry reading? The water cycle? What good is virtual reality if it's just the same dopey stuff?




And then, just as class is about to let out, there's a strange hiss ... then a bleep ... then a staticky crack.
