Life has never been easy for 11th grader James Boudreaux, who is still haunted by the death of a treasured friend that died years ago. Additionally, James is continuously troubled by the enduring forms of abuse that he endured by his Eurocentric family. James becomes a notorious, puppeteering, bully who seeks to control others around him at Wood Oak High School by engaging in games of deception and bullying. Will he open up to the right people to get himself the help that he desperately needs in order to resolve his ongoing issues or will he continue to hurt those around him?
