In those days I felt alone, scared, useless, and bound to a life I hated. More than that I was obsessed with a love I could never have. It consumed me.



My escape was writing poetry. If I could get my emotions down on paper, they didn't have to live inside me anymore. I never intended for anyone to see these. I will be the first to say, they won't win any prizes. Still, when I re-read them years later, I knew I had to publish them.

I hope they bring joy, closure, love, or at least a feeling that you are not alone. You can get through the journey of life. Most importantly, you really don't need to obsess over him, Sis. You need to obsess over how amazing you are!
