I cry my way through every story I write. I think it's because I never feel like I'm the one telling these stories. They come to me with such a flow that I am certain they are the work of something so much bigger than myself. They are the work of the great God. The less I do, the better. When someone asks me, "Why the elephant?" I say it's because the elephant never forgets, and sometimes we all need a reminder of the one truth that we all know. The truth that we were born into this life to remember. And that is what these stories are for.
