Spiritually, a rock represents durability, strength, and steadiness. A rock also means having a foundation and being grounded. Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, "...and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." This piece of scripture tells us that no matter what the enemy throws our way, we will win! The blessings of God are full of special favor that brings happiness.

During life's circumstances, on one side, we have the rock. The other is God's promise. And there we are, standing in the middle, unsure of which way to turn.
