After a conversation about challenges kids her age face with self-worth, Zariyah and her mother, Chantai Finesse together created a magical collaboration.

Loosely based on subjects found within Chantai Finesse's novel, Arizen Treasure, TREASURED: A Kid's Take on Self-Worth provides a starting point for children to explore the concept of self-worth and through guided reflection allows parents, teachers and facilitators the opportunity to delve deeper into their responses.

A healthy perspective on self-value is not only a subject for adults to explore. With an increased awareness of anxiety and depression experienced among our younger generations it is important to address and instill a positive mindset early. Hopefully, with these types of efforts, children can be better equipped to counter the negativity they face.
