This is the story of growing in the darkness. Healing through the stillness, mediating in the silence and going inward when there was nowhere else to go. Love in the Age of Quarantine explores what it means to be human, to love and be lonely, to desire and to heal. It explores the salt-wound of healing from an abusive relationship while living alone in quarantine, to learning how to date in quarantine and ultimately fall back in love with yourself. This highly relatable collection contains themes around love, heartbreak, abusive relationships, grief, body image, self-love and healing.
