The United States has fractured into perpetually warring statelets, liberal democracies worldwide have taken on the false aesthetics of communism, and none of that really matters. Kyle T. Orlanski, a transgender woman and habitual smoker living in Vancouver, BC, can't sleep. She receives a call that someone she hooked up with at a party once that she doesn't remember needs her help.
