Finding Joy is the story of sad Sally who searches for a lost cat and finds so much more. The search opens her mind to sights, smells, and friendships. The hunt for what is lost opens her eyes and heart to what she was truly missing. Sally finds that Joy leads to Hope! Where will hope lead her next? Finding Joy is a fun, bright, colorful book authored by a 13 year old girl. The young author was often disappointed with the selection of children's books and now hopes to inspire other young children to find joy in reading. Illustration by world renowned Artist Steve Kalar takes this joyful journey to a spectacular new level. Finding Joy also brings an original, creative, graphic layout to excite young readers and keep them engaged like never before. The author hopes Finding Joy will also help homeless animals find happy homes. A portion of the proceeds will go to Woods Humane Society in San Luis Obispo.
